PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST

PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST - Lisa Trujillo Active Wear

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Slices of Rye Bread
  • 150g of  Egg Whites
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
  • ½ Scoop WPI protein powder
    (Team Flex Australia)
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cinnamon
  • Nature Valley Protein Granola - Oats & Honey
  • 1/2 of a Banana
  • Sugar Free Maple Syrup

Method

  1. Add egg white, almond milk, protein powder, cinnamon and vanilla extract to small bowl. Mix together until even
  2. Heat a non stick pan with spray coconut oil
  3. Dip bread into egg mixture and coat on both sides
  4. Sprinkle granola on one side
  5. Place bread into pan granola side face down, add granola to other side.
  6. Flip once slightly brown and crisp
  7. Remove from pan, top with banana and sugar free maple to serve, why not add an extra sprinkle of Cinnamon.
